The ongoing climate change has significant impacts on the cultural and natural environment of the Czech Republic. Past interventions, particularly in the agricultural landscape, have left the landscape unable to respond to these changes in a natural way. Land management is a key tool for implementing changes that will help the landscape to adapt better. Comprehensive land improvement projects address not only the optimization of tenure and the organization of agricultural production but also the accessibility of individual plots. Last but not least, they also address water retention and landscape greenery in the landscape.
The Agency for Nature Conservation and Landscape Protection of the Czech Republic, the State Land Office, the Municipality of Tetín, and other partners would like to invite you to the conference Land Improvements and Water in the Landscape.
